At AA Pile Driving, we know that the foundation of any dock, pier or boathouse structure is critical, and the most important part of constructing a solid quality product. Our custom designed pile driving barge was built to have the most accurate piling placement possible. Combined with our years of experience and expert workmanship we are confident that our pile driving is second to none the best in the Lake Gaston area.
Some Lake Gaston property owners plan to construct their own boathouse, pier or dock, and are in need of just pile driving service. Not a problem - we will come out and build a piling foundation to meet your needs.
If the piling of your boathouse, pier or dock is in need of repair, then you have come to the right place.
Of course there is always the possibility that an old pier, dock or boathouse just doesn't meet standards and cannot be repaired - and instead must be removed prior to building new.
Give us a call (252-257-6712) and we will be glad to discuss your needs. At no obligation to you, we will analyze the situation and provide you a FREE estimate for the repair job.
With increased boat traffic and fluctuating water levels, it is important that erosion control not be overlooked because it is important not only to protect your real estate investment, but also to preserve your waterfront property for future generations.
The process that we use to repair shorelines is a combination of sloping the existing waters edge to the correct angle, installing top quality erosion control fabric then placing and packing the rip rap rock. This process has been proven to work on Lake Gaston and continues to be our method of choice.
If you are a builder and are in need of pile driving service,
we will gladly consider subcontracting with you.

Back in the early 1970’s, my father, A.D. Endecott (aka "Bud"), custom designed and built the first pile driving barge on Lake Gaston. Each winter he removed the barge from the water and improved the design to produce a faster and more efficient machine. He went on to construct many of the older boathouses still standing on Lake Gaston today.
By March of 1998, our business AA Pile Driving as it is known today became a reality. I became the sole proprietor and operator of AA Pile Driving at the young age of 22. I knew I had to work twice as hard in order to prove myself as a quality competitor. My hard efforts paid off, as more and more projects were awarded to my business.
Three years went by and it was time to upgrade the pile driving barge once again. It was outfitted with another driving boom and twenty feet was added to the barge itself. The upgrade was designed for more speed and accuracy and is still in operation today.
Today, AA Pile Driving provides a wide range of services to both homeowners and contractors. We provide quality work, second to none, in most areas of marine construction including piers, boathouses, bulkheads, and rip rap.
If you are interested in obtaining a quote, or you are buying a house and need advice about existing structure, please contact us to set up an appointment. Weekend appointments must be made in advance.
"We love our rip rap; not only did Dewayne do amazing work, but he sent us daily updates with pictures! We love our rip rap and were thrilled to have him drive the pilings for our new boathouse. He has been the one contractor on the lake to under promise and over produce. Dewayne’s pride shows through on all his work. His work on our shoreline was impeccable, and we couldn’t have been happier with all the work he has performed for us."

"Our dock and boat house were old and needed to be expanded. We called several companies in the area, and found AA Pile Driving.
Nobody could beat their prices and the quality of work was exceptional. But more importantly, AA Plie Driving was on time and completed the project as promised."

“Dewayne proved to be a very different kind of contractor. Unlike most contractors reliant upon labor, Dewayne uses a sophisticated, low impact equipment setup that allows him to work alone. Dewayne sets realistic expectations upfront, kept us updated throughout, and always responded promptly to questions. Once started, If Dewayne felt that it was too wet, he would let us know. He’d just leave his equipment in place for however many days it took for it to dry out. The job was done to perfection. After dumping a bucket of rip-rap, the guy would back up all the way back to the rock pile. Just to keep from spinning his machine any more than was necessary. Impressive. Any tread marks were graded back level and topsoil was spread on top as necessary.”
